چکیده
Along with analysis and practical implementation, simulations play a key role in wireless networks computational offloading research for several reasons. First, the provide ability to easily obtain data complex system’s model evaluation. Secondly, simulated provides controlled environment experimentation, allowing models algorithms be tested robustness identifying potential limitations before deploying them real-world applications. Choosing most appropriate tool simulation might challenging depends on factors, such as main purpose, complexity of data, researcher skills, community support, available budget. As time present analysis, system-level open-source tools modeling also cover systems’ communications side, CloudSim , xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">CloudSim Plus xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">IoTSim-Edge xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">EdgeCloudSim xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">iFogSim2 xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">PureEdgeSim xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">YAFS . This work presents an evaluation those based unique features performance results intensive workload- delay-tolerant scenarios: XR extremely high rate workload; remote monitoring low moderate delays workload requirements; streaming general human traffic relatively bit but workload. The concludes that CloudSim reliable virtualization host resources, while YAFS shows minimal hardware usage, have fewer implemented features.

Improving Open Source Software Usability
Usability of open source systems is becoming a relevant topic for investigation given the proliferation of open source software. General assumptions do not favor a positive relationship between the existing open source development model and good usability due to a host of social context reasons. In this paper we provide empirical evidence on this issue through a case study using an open source ...

Open source communities have successfully developed many pieces of software although most computer users only use proprietary applications. The usability of open source software is often regarded as one reason for this limited distribution. In this paper we review the existing evidence of the usability of open source software and discuss how the characteristics of open-source development influe...

متن کاملUsability Discussions in Open Source Development
The public nature of discussion in open source projects provides a valuable resource for understanding the mechanisms of open source software development. In this paper we explore how open source projects address issues of usability. We examine bug reports of several projects to characterise how developers address and resolve issues concerning user interfaces and interaction design. We discuss ...
متن کاملUsability processes in open source projects
In this paper we explore how open source projects address issues of usability. We describe the mechanisms, techniques and technology used by open source communities to design and refine the interfaces to their programs. In particular we consider how these developers cope with their distributed community, lack of domain expertise, limited resources and separation from their users. We also discus...
